Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy practice that treats your body, mind, and spirit by releasing trapped energy and emotions. As this energy from old traumas, injuries, disruptive patterns, and stale emotions is released, the body returns to its optimal state, often releasing any associated physical pain.

What to Expect at Your Session

You will remain clothed for your session. The room will be comfortable and quiet, with soothing music, if desired. Lying on a massage table, you will begin to relax as I contact the body with light, non-invasive touch. If desired, the work can be done entirely off the body, which is common in instances of open wounds or burns.

Generally, you will notice the warmth of the hands and experience deep relaxation, sometimes drifting off to a sleep-like state. At the end of the session, I will communicate what I have observed, offering ideas and tools for bringing balance or creating an energy shift.

The effects of Reiki are generally cumulative; people who don’t notice much after the first treatment typically have progressively deeper experiences with continued treatment.
